Aude Fléchon is Medical Oncologist and Head of the Genitourinary Unit at Centre Léon Bérard in Lyon, France. She studied at the Faculty of Medicine, Université de Paris XI (Paris-Sud University) in Paris, before doing her oncology training in Lyon.
Her main areas of interest are in the management of germ cell tumours, bladder cancer, renal cancer, and prostate cancer. As a dedicated clinician and clinical researcher, Dr Fléchon has acted as investigator for several national and international trials in the fields of bladder, prostate, and germ cell tumours and renal cell carcinoma.
Dr Fléchon is a member of the Groupe d’Etude des Tumeurs UroGénitales (GETUG), the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO), the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR), and the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO). She has co-authored more than 200 publications in peer-reviewed journals such as Frontiers in Oncology, European Journal of Cancer (Oxford), Clinical Cancer Research, and Journal of Clinical Oncology.
