Prof. Jarushka Naidoo is a Consultant Medical Oncologist at Beaumont RCSI Cancer Center, Dublin, Ireland.
Dr Naidoo specialises in lung and thoracic cancers, with research interests encompassing tumour immunology, immunotherapy, immune-related toxicities, and thoracic malignancies. Dr Naidoo is actively involved in leading several investigator-initiated clinical studies and translational research, many of which focus on immunotherapy, CNS metastases, and NSCLC. Dr Naidoo has authored/co-authored over 100 publications and serves on the Editorial Board of Frontiers in Oncology and Cancer Investigation. Dr Naidoo is also a member of several scientific organisations including ASCO, ESMO, IASLC, and the Society for Immunotherapy in Cancer (SITC), and serves on the NSCLC and immunotherapy toxicity guideline panels for ASCO and SITC, the on the scientific committees for the ASCO, ESMO and IASLC Annual Meetings.
Dr Naidoo serves as Chair of the Thoracic Committee for Cancer Trials Ireland and the Immunotherapy Subcommittee of the NRG Clinical Trials Cooperative Group. She is the Founder and Chair of the Irish Lung Cancer Alliance and Co-Chair of the Irish National Immune-Related Toxicity Team. Dr Naidoo has received numerous awards in recognition for her work within the field, including an NIH KL2 Award, Lung Cancer Foundation of America/IASLC Young Investigator Award, and the Irish Cancer Society Clinician Research Leadership Award in 2021 to support of her research in lung cancer and immunotherapy.
